Soft pastel on card, created in the studio from photographic references and quick on‑site sketches. In this work, the warm ochres of the façades on the ramparts emerge through the bare winter branches. Subtle plays of light and shadow enhance the gentle atmosphere and highlight the quiet presence of the town’s architectural heritage.

The composition brings together the structure of the houses, the ancient stone, and the transparency of the winter air, creating an ambiance that feels both intimate and luminous.
