Her passion for travel takes her along the roads around the world . Her inspiration is enriched by the encounters and discoveries of new cultures which are essential to the authenticity of her work.
During her travels she gathers a big amount of impressions and experiences she then transcribes in her works with authenticity and without folklore. She captures moments of life through quick sketches and photography where characters are shown in their familiar attitudes. “I remain in constant state of total receptivity so that nothing can distract the eye from what matters. Thereby I create a database with drawings and pictures for my works in studio. I interpret reality, with the permanent concern of not disrupting the spontaneity and the freshness of the vision and to restitute the highlights I experienced. This is a permanent concern in my practice indoors".
In her first trips on the legendary Silk Road from China to Pakistan via Central Asia and the Middle East she discovers the spectacular landscapes and the vibrant life of markets.
More recently she discovered Ethiopia. Deeply touched by the beauty and nobility of this legendary people, she realizes pastels and paintings of great humanity that she has shown in very recent exhibitions.
